Duke and Pollack Start on New Professional Poker League

Professional poker player Annie Duke was recently named commissioner of a new professional poker league featuring the biggest names on the tournament poker circuit. The yet to be named series will feature four televised events beginning in August, leading up to a $1,000,000 freeroll held January 2012. All tournaments will be stage at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas. Titan Poker Online is the new web-based version of the Titan Poker software.

The league is set to feature up to 200 professional poker players, who will be making their way into the league on a formula of finishes in major events, money cashed and recent success, online play and cash games will not be counted. League memberships will be consisting of two-, three- or five-year terms with select players earning lifetime memberships based on the individual’s career accomplishment in poker. Titan Poker review will attempt to show you some insight into a few of the major areas of the Titan Poker operation.

Former WSOP Commissioner Jeffrey Pollack will also join the league as its chairman while upholding his current role as chairman of Professional Bull Riders, Inc. The league was created by a company known as Federated Sports & Gaming, Inc., co-founded by Pollack and the other founders of horse racing betting site.
